I have recently succeeded in obtaining a Certificate in Computer Information Systems and am looking forward to pursuing my Associates Degree. I've particularly enjoyed the networking aspect of this field and it is in this area that I would prefer to expand my experience and knowlede. I am however, open to the limitless possibilites that this career has to offer. I believe it is important to constantly expand one's horizons.

1996 - 1999 Harrisburg Area Community College. Graduated spring of 1999 with a certificate in Computer Information Systems.

Work Experience

1998 - Fall, Harrisburg Area Community College, Lebanon, PA, Computer Services Department - These duties included loading software, repairing and troubleshooting PC's, and assistance to students and various members of the school staff with Office 97 and other various software questions. Other computer skills include experience with Novell, Lightning Strikes, Fortress, and Ghosting software. I was also involved in the wiring and installation of a new computer lab as well as backbone installation. The rewiring of the computer lab included making our own Cat 5 connections.

1998 - Summer, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, Hershey, PA, Greeter - This position entailed helping people navigate their way around the amusement park as well as part of the town of Hershey. Later, I worked in the Season Pass Office selling passes, answering phones, filing, etc. Season passes were sold using a computerized ticket machine. There were 3 individual software packages included in the system for the selling of these tickets.

1980-1998 Sterling Lebanon Packaging Corporation, Jonestown, PA, Patcher/Gluer/Machine Set-up Operator - I was responsible for the setup and routine operations of patching and glueing machines in the finishing/folding department. Periodically I was designated Group Leader and placed in charge of directing the workforce within that department. These duties included scheduling of the workforce, preparing 2 - hour production reports, and assistance to the people in the department during day-to-day operations.
